Unreasonable causal attribution: to unreasonably say that A causes B (e.g. that not sacrificing children to Tlaloc will cause severe droughts and famines). Known colloquially by some as "superstition". Of course, there is a level of subjectivity here. Different cultures or individuals may have diverging opinions on what is "reasonable" or "unreasonable" causal attribution. Antonym: reasonable causal attribution.
